British Olympic Association

The British Olympic Association (BOA) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) for Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Our vision is to inspire the nation with Olympic athletes in the pursuit of excellence.

We prepare, select and lead our nation’s finest competitors for Team GB at the summer, winter and youth Olympic Games. We also develop, promote and protect the Olympic Movement within the UK in accordance with the Olympic Charter and the Olympic Values of friendship, excellence and respect.

The BOA is independent, privately funded and receives no annual funding from the lottery or government and has no political interests.
