Kitty Arden is a British designer who has built an internationally renowned brand. She has exhibited her work all over the world, including the GREAT Festival of Creativity in Shanghai and the Royal Academy of Arts, London.
The Kitty Arden brand is colourful with British quirkiness, with a great sense of the traditional. Her work is extensive, from art schools in Chelsea, London to the Camberwell College of Art and Design. She was awarded a BA Honours Degree in Textiles and an MA Honours Degree in Printmaking. The Kitty Arden brand includes cruise-wear, home-wear and art, with her work encompassing silks, porcelain and paintings.
Kitty has designed and rebranded the chocolate shop Prestat in Piccadilly, which enjoys the Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen. Kitty was responsible for the redesign of the company’s shop, logo and packaging, in which time it has expanded from one store to a global distributor. Prestat’s co-owner, Bill Keeling, stated in the Financial Times Business section that, following Kitty’s involvement with repackaging, the company’s sales increased by 30%. Kitty exhibited her designs for Prestat at the Buckingham Palace Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Exhibition.
Kitty designs floral decorations for special events around the world, including parties at Windsor Castle and the flowers for the Royal Barge on the Thames for the Celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Her flowers feature regularly in fashion magazines, including Harper's Bazaar and Town and Country. Kitty has decorated for fashion shows in Paris, including for Christian Dior Couture.
Kitty Arden continues to expand her brand range from her London studio and is thrilled to be supporting British House in Rio for the Olympics 2016.
