Theresa Nguyen, an award winning artist and silversmith, and is internationally known for her ability to fashion precious metals into works of exquisite beauty, design and craftsmanship.
Theresa specialises in designing and hand making the finest pieces in silver, from objet d’art and tableware to luxury gifts and bespoke lighting that will both delight her clients and enable them to mark special moments in their lives, give exquisite gifts to their loved ones and create wow reactions from visitors to their homes and places of work.
Theresa is passionate about working closely with her clients to create bespoke pieces, sensitively drawing out their vision so that the finished piece will not only delight the client but will also be created as a result of a truly collaborative and creative journey.
At the age of 19, Theresa won the National Young Designer Silversmith Award, which enabled her to design and make her first commission, a cocktail shaker set, in the workshop of the internationally renowned silversmith Grant McDonald. She was subsequently commissioned to design a gift to celebrate the career of Lord Coe as a world class athlete and ambassador for British Athletics.
During the course of her career, Theresa has been able to create a stunning portfolio of work that has stretched the boundaries of what is possible in working with precious metals, attracting a wide circle of discerning collectors, private clients, corporate bodies and prestigious professional institutions, including The National Museum of Wales, Cardiff, The Clothworkers’ Company and New College Oxford.
